Blackout / Bond of Fear / Home to Danger


In this triple bill of British whodunits, a blind man stumbles across a killer in the act; a family on a trip through France falls prey to an escaped convict; and a vengeful drug dealer tries to kill his dead partner’s estranged daughter. Maxwell Reed is the blind witness and Eric Pohlmann is the assailant in Blackout; John Colicos plays the escaped convict Dewar in Bond of Fear; and Guy Rolfe and Rona Anderson star in Home to Danger.


 

Lucy Gets Lucky / Three for Two


Alongside Hollywood heavyweights Jackie Gleason and Dean Martin, legendary comedienne Lucille Ball stars as a desperate casino worker and as a hysterical wife in this double feature. In the first theme, Ball clumsily attempts to move heaven and earth to meet her favorite Las Vegas performer (Martin). In the second theme, Ball and Gleason star in a series of vignettes centered on the ups and downs of marriage.


 

Meet Mr. Callaghan / No Trace / Recoil


In this 1950s British noir triple bill, gumshoe Slim Callaghan (Derrick De Marney) investigates the death of a despised rich man; a crime novelist kills his blackmailer only to be asked to help solve the crime; and a woman goes undercover find her father’s killers. Adrienne Corri plays singer Mayolo in Meet Mr. Callaghan, based on a Peter Cheyney novel; Hugh Sinclair is author Robert Southley in No Trace; and Elizabeth Sellars stars in Recoil.

Lewis Allen directs “Suddenly,” which co-stars Sterling Hayden and James Gleason; and LeRoy Prinz directs “The Road to Victory,” which also features Bing Crosby and Cary Grant.
